Laughing at a Military Enlistment: These are the stories of what happens when guys spend too much time together and start to act like, well, guys. These are the times we pranked someone with ether (the anesthetic), the times we made the new Private do things just to see if he would. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed living them.
Toddler Art was a joy to pull together. This photographic essay shows how Elliot sees the world. These photographs are not touched up, they are exactly as Elliot took them (or in a few cases requested them to be taken). This is his work and his work alone, merely organized by a parent.
The Layman’s Articles of Confederation. The Articles of Confederation were the foundation for the Federal Government in the United States prior to our current Constitutional form. Those Articles are not widely understood and rarely read. The reasons for this are varied but largely spawn from the document being challenging to read. The language is old, it is full of phrases no longer used, and does not follow modern styles. We have written this book for non-lawyers and non-scholars to start to understand this founding document that was, in our opinion, a rough draft for the Constitution of the United States.
The Layman’s United States Constitution. In this book is the original Constitution. The challenge with understanding or interpreting the document is that the language is challenging. It is old and written in a way that makes it difficult to understand. After the original document is broken down article by article, section by section, a modern day language version of the document is provided. Every attempt was made to not change any meaning or have a political slant in this modernization process. The authors of this book have no political agenda. The intent is that people gain a better understanding of these passages in the way it was written.
